Exclamation How can i find my smtp info?

My hosting company is pretty slow in tech support. It usually takes a week to solve one little problem. I got a VPS with webmin and virtualmin which i just started to use, but after transfering my account now i get below error in my error log in smf
535 5.7.0 Error: authentication failed: authentication failure

and not sending any emails.
So i need to find out below info
SMTP server
SMTP port
SMTP username
SMTP password

So i can fix the issue.

How can i find my smtp info?

Please help!

Hello.

Its been a long time since i have been at the dashboard of a webmin/virtualmin server but im almost sure the settings are as follows;

SMTP Server > mail.your-virtual-host.com
SMTP Port > 25 (Unless you have changed it)
SMTP User > The email address
SMTP Pss > The password of the email account

Im not sure that would be possible, since the details are different for each virtual host.

Unless changes were made, like GetKVM-Ash said, its most likely going to be a username/password issue. I would create a new mail account and test outgoing mail so you know if its specific to your one account or not. Webmin isn't like cPanel, there is no area that shows you the info your looking for.

Sudeep765 I am sure he has done that, can you be more specific as to where in the control panel, I feel like your answer is a pretty obvious step..

Hi,

Check your email issue with the following settings:SMTP Server :
SMTP Server: smtp.[property].com
SMTP port number 25 or 587
SMTP Username: The full mailbox username.
Password: Password for the mailbox.
Enable the authentication for the outgoing email server.

If the issue still persists, you need to contact your email hosting service provider..
