Someone who monitors server and *restarts* services if needed?

Hi all,

I'm researching a dedicated Windows server in Europe, and so far one of the better options I've found is Hetzner.de which is dirt cheap but the downside is they have no support what so ever. They take care of hardware and that's it, anything else is up to you, even if a service fails during night, YOU get the notification and YOU have to deal with it.

But since Hetzner is so much cheaper (for better hardware) than what we are currently paying for in the US, there's room in the budget to hire an external company to do server monitoring and restart services/server if needed.

Problem is, I'm actually having a hard time finding such a company.

I'm guessing the company needs your remote desktop credentials so they are able to login to the server and restart whatever service has failed, or simply restart the entire server. So of course there's the question of trust, since an external company will be getting your login.

Any ideas where to find something like that?

When we first started our a few years back, we used seeksadmin. They can monitor your server, and if something goes down, they will follow a list of steps provided to get it back up.

I haven't paid for anything yet. I was looking into getting external support, like "seeksadmin" to see if it's worth going for one of Hetzner's very cheap servers with very good hadware (and without support), or if it's better to buy the full package somewhere and get lesser hardware specs to stay within budget.
