RAM memory flush won't cause any server side problem, if the RAM memory is stuck in the RAM cache then you have to upgrade the RAM memory or required the cron to flush the RAM cache else your server won't load site properly and you will face the slow loading speed. Its depend on you which option you would like to prefer ....
The only side effect with RAM flushing is you will see a huge I/O spike and very slow server till everything is cached again.

What method would you be using to "flush" the RAM? I'm assuming this must be a Windows server you're speaking of...the better question is, is there a reason to flush the RAM?
