Folks:
My biz partner and I bought a site hosted on suckyhost.com. (The name is changed to protect the irritating.) We want to host the site on greathost.com. (The name is changed 'cause I'm unsure of the rules of flaunting such stuff.) I've moved all the files from their location on suckyhost.com to greathost.com, and now I need to point the domain name to the new location of the files. My partner (our marketing/financial half) feeds me info from suckyhost.com. They have told him:

"A domain name can not be forwarded unless it
uses a parked suckyhost.com nameserver"

Huh? WHY? What is their reasoning? How do I get out of this mess and end up where I want to be (happily dealing with greathost.com)? With the parked suckyhost.com nameserver, I can't get at my Cpanel on greathost.com. I wanna sever ties with suckyhost.com. (It's a one-man operation. When he goes bowling or fishing or whatever and the server goes how, we're toast.)
I'd be *most* grateful if someone has some advice so my stomach'll stop bleeding. This is making me crazy. Meanwhile, the URL isn't pointing anywhere, and we can't get at the site. Grrrr!
