Datacenters in multiple locations - benefit?

ProfitHost had some problems with the previous datacenter, so we decided to move, and I have a question, does having multiple datacenters affect your price? Will I get more orderds, if people knowing that we have datacenters specially for fitting their needs in their own country? Also, I have an idea, though didn't propose it yet to the administrator. How about having 2 backup servers with clients' sites and cpanel installed so we can guarantee 100% uptime? Is that a good idea? Shall I propose it? Also what about the DC's?
