okay, got it uploaded, all of it...now I edited permissions of the config.php file, and I am trying to install it on my site but, when I go where it told me, I get this error

Did you get that error the first time you went to that install script, or after you had typed in your username etc and hit submit?

Have you uploaded all the files, including the includes directory and all the files in the includes directory?

I think I got your problemo, open the file "extension.inc" in the main folder of phpbb. You'll see a line that looks like this:

$phpEx = "";

Put

PHP Code:


		
			
$phpEx = "php";

instead of that one. If you don't see that line anywhere, just put it before the last line in that file.

okay, i guess its not done, because on the bottom of filezilla, It says
/forum/install/schemas/ms_access_primer.zip "critical tansfer error"

And refresh the install page on your website.

That one is probably not needed unless you're going to use microsoft access as you're database. First fix the change in extension.inc that i said above, then upload extension.inc again and try again.
