Some PHP/Forum Help

Okay, can someone please help me set up a forum for my site? I am having a problem figuring it out.

well, I am using awardspace, and It allows php, but I can't upload the phobb zipped file because of the size of it, it is way too big, somthing like 600,000 B, and the only hosts that I can find only allow like 2,000 B.

You are trying to upload the .zip file or the unzipped files?

Is awardspace a freehost?

yes, I awardspace is a free host, I tried Mher.org, but I couldnt figure out cPanel, it was pretty cheap host, something like $0.99 a month..but I got a refund cuz I couldnt figure it out
I am trying yo upload the zipped file

Have you looked in the PHPBB Support Area Yet?

If you are trying to install your forum, you have to unzip the files and upload the unzipped files to your root or directory folder.

Uploading the .zip file will do nothing for you.

okay, is there any way I can upload all the contents of the zipped file at one time? because there are a LOT of files within the folder....

do I have to use an FTP to upload them all at once?

I use Filezilla, which is a free FTP program.

nope, got it, now I have a question or two.
for the directory in the FTP....do I need to make a folder on awardspace called like "Forum" or something? or...where do I upload it do?

no, just use your nkbphoto.com as the host....

Then enter click Normal...enter your username and password and try and connect

Yes.

Make sure you follow the necessary steps in the "ReadMe" file.

Yeah, read everything you can at PHPBB to understand what you are doing first.
