Question Bandwidth = Hits ???

Just a question ....

as of now, i am being offered 250 GB bandwidth per month...

How many hits or page views will that support..

Just a bit confused and could do with some gyann...

True that. You need to divide it by the average size of your web pages.
Example:
Average page size: 10KB
Total bandwidth available: 100,000KB
Page views supported: 100,000 / 10
= 100,00 page views.

(If only i worked this hard on my maths exam I won't have failed in it twice! :mrgreen)

250 GB would be more than enough for a medium sized site. My VBullettin site with over 100,000 page views uses around 500 GB per month.

On a shared host, if you come anywhere near this most probably you will be kicked out due to excessive CPU usage. Thats the catch, when they oversell everything else.
