unlimited bandwidth usually comes with more limited space or some other catch.

It is advisable not to sign-up for unmetered / unlimited bandwidth because there is no company can give you 100% assurance that your usage will not affect the others especially on a shared environment.

I would advice to search WHT for their reviews / feedback before signing up

I agree with KC Tan. Usually a host that offers unlimted bandwidth or disk space has some sort of problems associated with it.

I already chat with Host Department Live Chat Support and asked them about Unlimited Disk Space and Unlimited Bandwidth.
And they explain that they are using SAN (Storage Area Network) that use fiber channel to connect server into storage network which can support TBs of data.
HDD is virtually unlimited and can always add more space when needed simply by plugging in more HDD into the SAN.

The explanation is just the same with this thread http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...hostdepartment

Yes, I have. Actually I still joined with them until now. I know that they have an unlimited bandwith and it's kinda cool because I’ve been used it since 3 months ago. Try to check it out to Hostdepartment site and see all of their features, because they have quite several features include unlimited bandwidth.

Unlimited bandwidth does not exists, due to technical limitations - it is just a marketing term.

But you may take a look to these good webhosting offers. They provide almost all a webmaster could need: a lot of space (up to 50 GB), a lot of traffic (up to 999 GB), MySQL, PHP, Perl, and even Windows hosting with MS-SQL and .NET if you use. The prices are fair, even for VPS or dedicated servers.

I have never used that personally, but in my experience, nothing is unlimited. There might be a hidden agenda, use caution.

There may be something that I do not understand, which allows them to give out unlimited bandwidth, but I cannot see how they can do so, when they have a limit themselves.

steven22 needs to post some quality stuff
Hi

Hello,

Looking for more bandwidth is a good disision but apparently you must think of the support and the server configuration which is very important before you host your website,

There has to be limits for the account or else it may lead causing problem on server the load will be high all the time just because of few user there would be problem.

So in your case best option would be dedicated server where you can create the account as per you requirement .
