Choosing a Web Hosting Service Provider

One of the most important decisions you will make is choosing your Web hosting service. Web Hosting Service is the companies that give you space to host your Web pages on a Web server, making them available to anyone who knows your URL. Small Web sites (around 15-20 pages of content) do not need much more than 1 or 2 MB of server space to hold all of the HTML pages and graphics. Web hosting services provide Web server space only, and will be more capable of hosting a complex commercial site.

Think the best companies in terms of hosting providing are glowhost.com, asmallorange.com and webintellects.com.
Their prices are affordable and service is top-notch and well-supported.

It's very important job before choosing Web Hosting Services Provider. i have it's experience. I had registered one domain with byet.org and after 3 months of registration they stopped my hosting and send me mail, that due to my site traffic, their server became slow and other client (domain registered customers) has some problem for site loading. And Still my site is not live, i just send mail last for My DNS Details, and they are not sending this to me. There was daily 800 to 900 visitors on my site.

I could have been possible that you were using more resources than the one allowed as per their TOS?

Hence, it is recommended to go wioth a non-overselling host to avoid such problems. However, if you are on shared hosting, then you always have limitations to use server resources. So make sure to keep your website resource usage within limit and if it exceeds then you probably need a larger hosting packge such as a vps or dedicated server!!

As rule that is CPU and RAM usage on the overselling web hosting companies.

I have gone to sites that compare free hosting services to find the best one for me. I can't seem to find one that provides a .com address for free. Are there any?
