Choosing hosting provider
Which hosting do you use? What is most important for you about hosting?
In your eyes, is it a serious advantage for an affiliate program, if it offers free hosting to all of the partners?
Please, advise.
Best regards, Seopharmacy

biggest things i looked for were:
1. Size (bandwith, memory, storage, etc)
2. PHP, MySql compatable
3. US based (no language barrier, resposnes to problems on my time)
4. Price
5. Customer service (really looked for referalls)
6. Speed of websites hosted on server
so that said, i wouldn't think it would be a serious advantage. most people/co's with an online presence would prob. want the host of their choice to do the hosting.

Good Quality never goes cheap. However, I saw a lot of cheap web hosting providers everywhere. So actually, nowadays, it is more difficult for the clients to pick up a good hosting service. For customers, everyone want cheaper.

I would choose a host that has...
1. Tech support
2. An easy to use interface such as vDeck even though I'm sure most of us are quite proficient with WSFTP
3. a wide array of power plugins and applications such as

Such as...osCommerce, agora, phpBB, etc....
4. Reliability (do your homework)
Just some of the things my current host offers me.
Hope this helps.

My host is fantastic, and not expensive. I've been with them for just over 1 year now and have been very pleased.

I had been using Dual Opteron Servers. They are much powerful than XEON in terms of load. In Intel servers If the load is high then the Apache will get crashed but Opteron servers are very good in handeling Apache. Plus they can face much heavy loads as compare to XEON Servers.
Still everything depends on your budget... i will prefer you to get Dedicated Server for your website. (If u can Afford) Else in terms of reseller you can check a very good host which gives good service.
Let me know if u need any help in Hosting Purpose.
Cheers.

I would choose a host that are cheap+reliable+good support.
Why sacrifice any of them if you can all of them .
I'm using Resellerzoom and Site5. Resellerzoom is great, site5 is..erm..going downhill recently.

The main things I look for are customer service and support and uptime. There is no use having a lot of bandwidth if you can't use it because your site is down. No use being cheap is your paying money for somethang that you are not using.
I think affiliate and reseller accounts are good ways to start off your business. You ear commission and learn the ins and outs, your host gets paid, ur customers get thier sites. Every is taken care of. They are good stepping stones.

Price shopping is dangerous. Lots of times you will not get the quality that you would with a higher priced company. Don't get me wrong, there are a few companies out there that offer good quality hosting at affordable prices, but u have to be careful, cus u usually get what u pay for, cheap hosting for cheap prices.

Main thing to look for in a host imho is customer service, support and my all means someone that will tell you exactly how it is. Not a host that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your business......

Hello,
According to my opiniun 3 factors are the most important,
1} Server configuration
2} Server Uptime
3} Support quality
Thats all, you wont get disappointed with the company
