What virtualization VPS best for you?

What virtualization VPS would you choose?
XEN, KVM, OVZ?
Or only the price is important for you?

KVM is Kernel-based Virtual Machine. Meaning it's full virtualisation. Things that need to modify the kernel (such as R1Soft) can be run on KVM.

As a bonus - all resources in KVM are dedicated - meaning if you're allocated 1GB of RAM - that RAM is for you only. Can't be oversold like OVZ.

Which one would you choose like the thread creator mentioned in the opening post. I'm happy with my web host in whatever they using. lol

Well it depends on the your preference ( usage and purpose) but most probably I prefer Xen HVM

VZ is lightweight and fast, but it's not a full virtualization.

Virtualizor is simply a powerful web based VPS Control Panel. It depends on your need how much you have and can choose as per your desire because on the internet there are lots of provider of it.

I would like to prefer XEN or KVM, both virtualization platform is providing the good stable environment for virtual servers and easy to manage.

I feel that a Xen VPS is the platform is best because if we are a looking to upgrade from shared hosting or need a server on the internet. KVM is still to complex and OpenVZ…well, out of date.

Price should never be important. I pay $30 and glad I pay that much for mine. If I went cheap then I'd have issues with my blogs for sure and spend more time in live chat with the host then working on the blogs.

Its not necessary that resources specially ram of a KVM machine is dedicated. It's a myth. You can google on it.
You can go with any virtualization as managing it is not the problem. As your ultimate goal is to host websites and you will eventually enable to do it with any type of virtualization. They are all different technologies but reach the same goal.

Virtualization

We are generally using OpenVZ in our hosting solution, because it's more comfortable to maintain than Xen solution.
