I was wondering, does Heart Internet free hosting require anything? I'm thinking of moving my site over from awardspace to it, but I need to get whatever before I do.

Ok. You have to make backup to your PC all your files which you've hosted with them. Then choose the new one and change nameservers to new hoster. Good like. I hope it will help you.

Um... I'm sorry, I don't understand, I didn't get name servers, its a redirection, nothing like .com or .net its more like .tk.

Oh, do you mean I should buy a proper domain?

As far as I understand you are going to go with free host. If you will go with free hosting you will get free fomain name (third level domain). You just have to backup files which you have hosted with Heart Internet. And after that upload them to the new server (new hoster).

No you wouldn't. All hosting providers provide name servers for their customers. You have to indicate NS of your new hoster during domain name registration.
