Actually it's the blog that made me want to move to DreamHost, because it shows that hey have a realistic, friendly attitude, more of a community than just the client and the company.

As to that site flaming DreamHost, it's not active now, but I did check a few things when they were active, and found their information to be bogus.

More to the point: People like that need a life. After all, there are thousands of hosting services out there. If you don't like one, you go to another. Period.

seem like we hav different needs here. i only prefer hosting that present themselve professionally, spoke proper language, and for sure, reply my mail in professional manner with proper language & manners.

every big company has it "company-sux.com" sites, made either by a few disappointed customers or competitors. i use dreamhost myself for about...2 months now, hosting 3 sites with them, no problems whatsoever; the support is very quick, always got back to me within 1 hour and the servers are very stable / good uptime.

maybe they disappointed someone, but definitely not me

To be perfectly honest, all correspondence I've had with DreamHost has been professional, "with proper language & manners."

I guess you don't like the irreverence they display on the site, but that's how computer "geeks" really act, and I bet other responsible hosting companies have the same type of people. They just don't display that part of their personalities to you.
