SiteGround - Good or bad?

Looks like a great package for the price. I haven't used them myself but here is a review from hostsearch.com which may help;

It's cheap though. Like $113 for 2 years or something. Also, dedicated is better. They told me my forum is too big and I'm causing everyone's site hosted with the same server as mine to crash. lolol

Jerlene may i ask you about your experiences with that host. I don't understand how your forum could have been too big and causing crashes with that amount of web space and bandwidth. Also may i ask how you resolved this situation. I appreciate your help

Well, one of my clients that I`m managing is with them, but honestly, it`s not that good as their website looks. They do have quad core servers, can move you without problems if you need php 5 ( that`s the default setup ) to a php 4 server...but I don`t like the timeouts I`m receiving numerous times...I tried to install a forum once, and the mysql queries got through 50 % and then it timed out ( had to repeat the operation 5 times in order to get the complete set submitted ). And also, the server load is somewhere 11-15 ( cPanel shows ), that`s a bit high for quad core`s. Plans good - servers need more work.

Yes, i had a negative experience with siteground.com, although their customer and technical services are "wonderful".

I don't recommend to subscribe with them.

I know this could probably appear as spam, but deserves to be read my article, as you begin to be "something" this will happen. I posted there because, from there, nobody could touch it as from most of review sites, negative reviews disappear and frequently, most of them are siteground.com fake review sites.

I'd advise against going with this host. Just from personal experience. I don't really wish to type it out but yah, stay away. Just do research and find something better.

Since that, I subscribed basic with netjaguar:
customer service is also reliable, friendly and allows you to hardly personalize all that you need without any problem. For me is perfect because of xoops.
Tickets answers lasts few time, it's true, but deserves all your cents.
