We use cPanel. It's widely supported and relatively cheap (hint - there are many resellers with price match guarantees).

About the only thing I don't like about it is that the transfer feature leaves some stuff behind. Whenever we have to transfer an account, we always have to pick through it very carefully to ensure it got the DNS records and open_basedir settings, etc.

I always like to have cPanel as my preferred control panel. It gives me all the comfort I needed.

I would have to say directadmin, but only if your going to use the CP for yourself. Its super fast and very lightweight.

I don't think it is as powerful as cpanel for hosting shared clients.

Can you let me know how you compare cPanel and DA in shared hosting environment?

Hi gate2vn,

Just my opinion from running them both. Control Panel's are tools. Nothing more and nothing less. I just think for shared hosting cpanel is better.

I think DirectAdmin is good and I put it on dedicated servers all the time for clients.
