Yes, but if you look at WHT and other review sites, you will see many good reviews about HostNexus by his friends. I agree that bad hosts need to be exposed but your litmus test on this was a personal argument.

I'll tell you... That John is taking business from you!!! As he's stated on these boards before, incompetent hosting services caused him to get his own servers. As he had the need for enough servers, he started a hosting company on the side.

When he does something, he does it right. He specializes in Marketing, so of course his marketing is going to bring him in customers.... DUH! The marketing may bring the customers in, but the service makes them stay... I have yet to wait longer than 10 minutes for a support ticket to be answered. Either John himself, or another support staff member is on top of it immediately...

If you can't take the competition, you are DEFINITELY in the WRONG business...

Was it just me or did both Beta server and Epsilon server go down on Monday? I have sites on both servers and got notified of outages through multiple sources.

I'm starting to get quite concerned as these outages are occuring almost on a daily basis. No notification is given in most cases, which worries me even more. At the end of the day, there is only one thing that makes a good host. Uptime.

KingdomX, let me inform you. First off, you may be interested to know that I have never purchased anything from John Scott, I don't know him, and I have only used this forum for advertising for myself. With that said, let me continue.

You start out by saying how terrible this guy and his hosting company both are. Great. Well, you can't back anything up. Then, after your points have been proven wrong, you decide to be cheap and do a (possibly fake) history search for him. First off, how many people in the US do you think have the name John? I'm sure that at least one million people have that name alone in the US. There are three Johns in my history class. Then Scott is also a popular last name. What I'm trying to say is that there is no possible way that the history you found is for our johnny boy.

It is also worth mentioning that you have essentially proven all of your points wrong yourself, by not backing them up, but instead finding other weak spots.

There is one really fitting word for you.

You just quoted this from your page. They have 30 servers by the looks of it and many have been online for over 2 years so I'm sure that there will be reports of downtime (just as I've found in your forum - shall Ipost? And you've only been in business for a few months and have just 2 servers). I'm sure HostNexus isn't losing much business to small-fry like v7.

Funny thing is those remarks that they used to make HostNexus look bad were what drove me to you. I really appreciated the honesty by your team when something was wrong. Let's face it, hiccups happen, and when they do it's nice to know you guys aren't going to pretend they don't.

So it appears that you are driving business to them.

As I stated in my post, if I had read the thread correctly (which I didn't) that was what I came away from it with... This line in particular made me think it...

im dying to know how v7 was voted #1 host, i mean... what other hosts were the contenders because im SURE my people would have said I AM #1!!

Either way, you admit there that you are a host of some sort (reseller or direct hosting company, doesn't matter...)
