Marketing is either good, or bad. What determines whether marketing is good or bad? Whether it drives sales or not. That marketing does drive sales. I have sign ups off both Internet Hosting Report, and from HostDetective.net. So it's good marketing.

You fail to state what the "lies" are. What lies are you referring to? You assumed that the whois was fake. It isn't. You assumed. And assuming makes you an ass.

you own all these sites, but yet you try to make the general public think they are some disinterested 3rd party who all seem to be convinced that your company, v7, is #1 according to all these non-existent people!

is there any particular reason that you dont mention that you, the author of all these sites are also the one voting that you, the owner of these hosting companies is the one who decides that you, both parties, are the judge and jury and winner?

Wow, I was just considering signing up. I read WHT from time to time and that thread is very damning to say the least. I can't understand why one host would write such a page about another host knowing it would rank highly on a search for that host.

And that post about Host Detective...well...err....

I came here because of all the glowing reports I found and now I find they are all bogus.

I read some of HostNexus' forum and they look to be straight up people that specialise in hosting only and I can't find any remarks about bad service. They appear to be very open, they are quite large with many servers and clients and I can't find anything about them that makes me think they are liars.

But on the other hand, I now know alot about the ethics of this place.

It was written for the fun of it. For some reason, I enjoy bashing bad hosts. I bashed another one as well:

And some people thank me for it. That guy went out of business like so many other bad hosts. I will continue to expose incompetent hosts when I find them. Civic duty, ya know.

I think v7 is great. And no those reviews aren't lies, they are from users of v7 hosting. Yes John own's both sites but so what, any host coulda be voted best host of 2003 on host detective if it got enough votes. v7 just happened to be it.
