What's the cheapest place to get hosting??

I'm not sure I could compare it too anyone else.... You just login into your customer account and you can control DNS, forwarding email and stuff like that.... No editing software.... But there cheap. and the service is just plain excellent...

Any company that is available for tech support 24 hours a day 7 days a week just in case of a problem - is great in my book.... Been with them about 2 years.

Oh and what happens when you hae 1 second of downtime? Do your clients get a refund? After all what good is 100% uptime unless you back that up with something.

I've looked at GoDaddy and their price is very reasonable.

I've been thinking about using them but I don't seem to be able to find any information about whether their package comes with shell account. (The have LINUX servers)

i would look around, godaddy has a somewhat bad rep for hosting, good rep for domain name reselling , but not for hosting.

Thanks for the advice, VASTNET is the best one I know but they are a lot more expensive, cheap and good just don't seem to mix.

I use www.realwebhost.net, and I have been nothing but happy with them and their service. They've got reasonable prices, excellent customer support, and minimal downtimes... plus my site is almost always lightning fast.

Cheaper is not always better :-)
I have been with Digitalinet.com for about 1 year.
I pay $6 a month for 800 megs of space & 10 gigs of bandwidth. I have had no issues :-)

I have used pair, superb, lunarpages & I like Digitalinet better then all of them.
