I would get a traceroute tool and see where the bottleneck is. Maybe it is that your ISP is blocking the block. Nice site. Try using a proxy to access it. Could be a problem with your ISP's DNS lookup. If it is a new site it might be this way for a day or two.

Thanks for checking!

Here's what the problem is.

I have more than one IP with the host and the other IPs work fine but this one doesn't

I have done a traceroute on the IPs that work and the IP that doesnt and
still get the same result.

All the IPs are on one server and I can't understand
why I can't access this one IP and domain.

(BTW - I uploaded the page through the control panel)

I cannot use a FTP engine, it just timed out and does not connect.

With that info any ideas?

Great suggestions noob_0001 !!!

OK, I used a proxy and was able to access the IP and domain.

So, now I know the server is ok, the DNS lookup is ok and the site is up.

Then, what is going on?

Yes

With the traceroute it reaches both the good IP and the problem IP.

What I dont get is that the good IPs and the problem IPs are on the same server.

I can FTP the good domains but not the bad ones.

The only way to upload files is to use the server and this takes too long.

If I use a proxy I can access the bad IPs (domains)

That's strange. You can traceroute to the IP, but cannot access it via FTP and http.
Can you try this after clearing all your caches? Also, is it possible to try this from a different computer or from a different network?

Yes, this is what I dont understand.

Ok, cleared the cache but everything is still the same.

Trying to access the domain and IP from a different computer. Well, I have other computers here are this does not make any difference.

Trying to access from a different network. This is why I posted. Thankfully, people here have been great and you can see that everyone except one was able to access the IP and the domain.

I had a similar problem with 1&1. I couldn't access any of my sites. Try going through a proxy site and see if you can access your site that way?

I made about 15 calls to my hosting company and they kept telling me to call my cable company (who then told me to call my hosting company).

It ended up that my hosting company 1&1, had blocked my IP for some reason. I'm still waiting on an explantion but they seem to have dealt with the problem as I can access my sites again.

But if that is the case, I mean IP being blocked in their firewall, he won't be able to traceroute to the IP.
Here, he is able to traceroute to the IP with out any problems, so the case is different.

IP problem.

I have had this problem with some of my customers that use Comcast and EarthLink. Its due because they block the ip address in the routers. They Think that you are running website on there network. I had to call Network OPS CEnter for Comcast to get this cleared.
