Thumbs up Which webhost is the BEST!?
For a VPS or Semi-dedicated server on a pretty heavy site (not proxy), which server company would you guys recommend and why?

Three fundamental criteria:
1. CPU usage (which guys don't over clock their server? or allows heavy usage)
2. Bandwith (Bigger and reliable obviously)
3. Disk Space
4. Service (90% of these server guys don't have service since their server is at their garage, so who does?)

I saw the server reviews within V7N, seems like most of the reviews are at least half a year ago. So fire away your thoughts!

PS: Don't advertise your service, I want to hear your experiences and not which affiliate you're with lol...

I have used VPS from godaddy and it was okay. If you are technically strong, godaddy or 1and1 will be good enough and you can save some moeny too.

Liquidweb offers great support for VPS too, if you can afford them.

Don't think Godaddy is cheap? They don't have Cpanel either, is it even easy to use in their dedicated?

Why don't you consider dedicated server? Small one. I thibnk that it would be much more better.

Thats true, I agree to ~serverpoint~, if you CPU and RAM usages are more than you should opt for dedicated box.
If your budget is low then you will have to do a research for VPS / Semi-dedicated plans on search engines as they will be best suited for your requirements for now.

I like EWDHosting offered by Emerson, but I run an eCommerce site and his customer service is personal, quick, and PHENOMENAL. Uses cPanel, so I like that too, but again, the customer service takes less than an hour to respond, which I didn't even think was possible.
