Does cPanel allow me to give limited access to others?

Hi,

Does cPanel (not WHM) allow me to give limited access to others?
I don't see any way to do it?
Isn't there an easy, safe, way to let another person have limited access to regular cPanel accounts.

Thank you

Hey there,

I'm not exactly sure what you would be using this for. I weny to Cpanel's website and found this is the FAQs. Not sure if it answers your question:

Quote:
Q: Are there multiple levels of cPanel access? For subdomains? Addon domains?

Currently there is only one level of cPanel access. However, subdomains and addon domains can be accessed through SFTP, FTP, or Web Disk to modify their files depending on your server's configuration.

If you purchasing a reseller hosting plan, you may be able to do this.

iHubNet-Matt is on the right pathiHubNet-Matt is on the right path
I think he is asking about a separate cpanel login for the same account with less privileges.
I won't think this is possible with Cpanel.

nada.. you can't do it.. I emailed my hosting company myself and they said that cpanel doesn't do that...

I wish you could.. but sadly you can't...

Try to push for it in the next update..

Thanks all, for verifying what seemed to be true.
This is something they should have done years ago, IMO.

cpanel does not allow you to do that, you need whm to do it but it only limited to reseller hosting or yourself a hosting company. I was selling hositng for a while so I pretty sure cpanel doesn't have the ability what you are looking for.

AFAIK, cpanel don't have this function. You need a reseller account if you want assign cpanel accounts to others.
