I would suggest paying for your hosting. You don't have to pay that much for a small site.

I use ASmallOrange and their prices and service is very reasonable.

Yes, I agree with you guys.

If you are serious about websites, I suggest not to go for free hosting which you will find disappointing sooner or later.

I think that free web hosting is the way to get skils and some space for personal web page, but no more.

Although !! I have several free sites with basic CCS web pages on them and a page or to of information about a subject... such as , I like ww2 tanks so I would got to say http://www.axspace.com/ and sign up for a free web page like www.tigertank.axespace.com .. they dont have adverts or ask for anything and the sites up withing 10 minutes ftp working the lot ! then I will put on CCS template page a some stuff about a tiger tank and then links to one or 2 of my more important urls
I do one a week so building up link trees I'll probs get bollocked by someone saying its way on the darkside but .......
