My host change

I just switched from a $5 a month host who worked great for over 2 years. When my new blog hit is big time, they requested I leave because I kept crashing the server. I have not switched to Media Temple and I must say I am so happy with them.

I actually joined over the phone talking to a real person, no wait time, and no Indian accent on the other end of the phone. The control panel is pretty custom so it takes some getting use to, but I have love it after using it for a few days.

Mediatemple.com gets unvariably positive feedbacks.
Do they offer shared plans as well?

ATLien, it migt be curiously but any web hosting company promice that. And sometimes things which need to be done for the fees customer pay and was promioced - makes someones more then happy.
I want to say that there are a lot of small companies which turn public opinion about web hosting service in other view. And people expect bed support and sevice for their money.

Are you on a shared plan? Or dedicated? I remember reading they were going to move from grid to cluster solutions, what's the difference, I wonder?

I am currently hosted on a Gridserver, but I am partnering with them to recieve a virtual dedicated server. Virtual dedicated will allow my site to keep growing at the rate it is and not have anymore hiccups.

I have been with them for over 8 months (gridserver mostly) and I have had some occasional hiccups with it but they were mostly planned maintenance issues that needed resolving but I am mostly happy with them you can read my reviews of their gridserver and VPS for more details

I am glad to hear this mate, I have not come across them before but I am sure they are great. Hope for the future that they treat you well
