AW Stats question
For the time being, I'm using a Yahoo web hosting standard package to host my website. I really like the layout of AW Stats, but I'm struggling to install it.

Does anyone know if it can work? And if so, how?

Feel free to call me nOOb in any of your responses. It would be accurate

Send a message via ICQ to fishfreek Send a message via AIM to fishfreek Send a message via MSN to fishfreek Send a message via Yahoo to fishfreek
Does your yahoo hosting support cgi? If not then you cant do awsstats as it runs as a perl cgi script. You would also need access to your sites access logs.

I have not used yahoo hosting so I cant answer either of those.

I don't think Yahoo supports that. You can buy web hosting for less than Yahoo's prices and with more features from www.lessel.us for $12 or less. It comes with awstats preinstalled plus lots of other bandwidth monitors and free scripts.

Any host who uses the cpanel control panel will have AWStats installed by default.
