All of my sites are hosted at The Planet, I have loved it for the last 2 years I have used them, very nice support and little outages. Looks like 9,000 dedicated servers are now out of commision until tomorrow atleast. There was some sort of explosion that took down a whole data center.
Anyone else use The Planet affected by this?
I am quite upset, I am afraid some of my sites and pages will be penalized for being down so long. I know some search engines will remove results if your page cannot be reached, and I know alot of stumbleupon users are going to be "flagging" my site or thumbing it down for not responding, im a sad monkey
They say over 7,500 customers are affected, so I am sure there has to be some other folks on v7 that are as frustrated as I am.
The worst part is there is nobody to complain to, it was not the planets fault for a transformer exploding
