Fradulent Hosting company, how to stop them ??

Hi,

I came across couple of posts from other forum and i noticed that there is one company out there which is bluntly lieying . And there is considerable opposition to that also. Someone is also putting up a webpage at www.geocities.com/liar_accu to make everyone aware.

Can anyone suggest how to make this effort make impact on that company, caz everyone is not going to see before they buy hosting from them.

Any suggestion will be forwarded to them to help them out.

For clarification ::

do not have anything to do with them. I just saw the site and i thought it is outrageous for a hosting company to lie at that far point. We all are making honest effort to earn more customers and this kind of few bad apples are making the whole industry bad.

So i thought that all honest hosting people should contribute to this effort. And i thought if we can suggest some solution then it will be good help to this folks who are fighting with this crooks.

The other option is that we can sit and watch what is happening and do nothing until regular people thinks that Web hosting companies are 90% crooks.

Choice is in our hands !!

Just because they say they have been around longer than they really have does not make them crooks. If levi's said they have been around since 1000 BC would that make them any less a good purchase?

I always say "V7 Inc has been hosting since 2002", but we just registered the v7inc.com domain less than a year ago. Some people might accuse me of being a liar; more thoughtful types would ask me, and I'd tell them we used to be selling hosting from www.quality-web-hosting.net

It is not just matter of overstating their existence, you are right if you just do what you did. But look at the www.geocities.com/liar_accu These people have posted the screenshot to explain their big lie. The are stealing the award winners graphics and they have posted some other companies seal of hosting assurance. And you are more intelligent and forthcoming then they are john, don't compare them with you !

You are not to blaim when you just try to make a marketing pitch but what if you stole graphics awards and other stuff from other sites and try to get your customers.

And ya Top Shotta it is okay for levi's but how if you bought a levis from me and then found out that i stole the levi's logo and posted on my own jeans and sold it to you. Now how angry you will be if you paid the money thinkign that this is levi;s and then found out that it is not !!
