Who has the Google Chrome?
For the website builder, now you have to conform to the top three:
IE
Firefox
Chrome
Here is my question: Are you seeing Chrome compatible with IE and Firefox when building a site.

I personally omit Chrome during web design, because it is based on Mozilla. I do check it every now and again, or once a project is done, but I've never personally had any Chrome specific compatibility issues. I don't use Flash though!

Google is fat enough to push their way into the market and for website designers,we are going to have to design for the top three.
I’m not happy having to do this.
If you have been around awhile, remember what a pain in the but it was to design a site compatible to IE and Netscape. Woooooo.

I will never use Google Chrome to check a site. And I'm probably not alone in that either.
Chrome is a flash in the pan. It'll die soon enough.

Yes, Google Chrome was built on the webkit that safari uses. Some people say that If your site looks good on safari, it will look about the same on chrome. I don't know, I have not used Chrome yet.

I've download Chrome, but never checked its compatibility. I don't think the visitors are replacing IE with chrome

I don't know why but I don't like Google chrome. Hope it is a big flop for Google. Am I correct?

Markov,
When you use Chrome, do your websites look the same as when using IE or Firefox?

Chrome is and has been my default browser for the past couple of months. It's my preference currently.
But do remember that it is in beta and will still be for quite a while. It's not without its foibles, some which will be fixed and some which will remain.
As for rendering, it is closer the FF than IE, definitely.

Yes, that's the one feature I'm waiting on! They'll come, though.

You don't have to make your site valid for Chrome. About 1% of my visitors have Chrome - that's almost nothing!

Because it's still in Beta, you should realise.
As it's a Google product, it's almost certain to take off in the future, particularly when extensions are activated.
And if you're fine with losing 1%+ of your business, that's up to you. But I would be wary of imposing that advice on others.

I've been using it a lot too, it's so fast and it's a big thing for me as I write tons of JavaScript.
It won't disappear easily.
Currently I test in FF3 FF2 IE7 IE6 while developing, then check how well it works in chrome & safari and IE8 and only bother to fix major problems in these less popular browsers.
Fortunately developing primarily for FF3 (while pandering to IE) means it will work on just about any good browser (that's web standards in action!)

I would agree.
We don't check sites either with Chrome. We're sticking on Firefox and IE6 & 7. Though we know very well how annoying checking sites IE6.

Generally the website(s) behave properly with Firefox and Chrome, but Explorer sometimes gives some minor issues.

I have a hard time that a Google product released in this day in age will result as only a flash in the pan.
