yeah, see, i find it really annoying that IE doesn't have a popup stopper, yet most other web programs DO, so i think this is only natural

Its a great idea, but also have to keep in mind that there is no such thing as a "pop up blocker". As we speak there are many sites that have gotten around the MANY pop up blockers including googles. IT is not a hard task for even a moderate programmer.

It is still one of the better ideas ive seen at microsoft in awhile.

POP Up Advertising is one of the most annoying models, and the worst are full screen ads, when you have to use Alt+f4, and then series of popus appears on your page...

And in the end you have to restart your machine...

I used to think so, but lately it hasn't been blocking as well. I think advertisers are starting to use different methods to assault our screens. Panicware's free blocker works great for me, except that I often have to hit the control key to open ANY window. Took some getting used to, but now it's automatic. They've trained me well
