The speed differences shown are negligable and I doubt many people would change their browser of choice based on how fast a browser renders CSS.
There is also the memory factor. FF1.5 with two tabs open takes up approx. 74MB RAM on my WinXP machine whereas IE6 with two windows takes up 19MB.
Quite a difference but its not going to make me start using IE!

FF has its own speed test, I find it quite handy because it warns me if I have too many objects, or scripts etc..
Can be found in the 'Web Developer Toolbar' Add-on. It's a must for any web developer, has so many useful tools.

I'm an Opera man, but I chose to not activate mouse gestures .. I forget exactly why off hand. Could you briefly explain why you say that mouse gestures are where it's at? I may consider enabling them again if there's been something different added since the time I first reviewed the feature.

More on firefox are the reactions. So, probably firefox bets them all due to its quality speed.
I`m also new to this. A very impressive idea and knowhow. .
Gonna have more to share? Thanks in advance for that.

IE's memory use as compared to FF is a tricky thing. The fact is that some IE's internals are a part of Windows, so a lot of modules that IE uses are preloaded at boot time, and their memory footprint does not show as a part of IE. FF on the other hand has all it needs contained within it's own dedicated code.
