Question Do you Design for the IMPAIRED, or for the MASSES?

http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/adesigner

Years ago, when the Web was young, it was the Browser Wars that everyone was concerned about. Now, it appears that there are new potential conflicts.

RE: Do you Design for the IMPAIRED?

This is a great article on that very subject. I've send it to many clients.

Google is powerful, don't piss her off
http://www.fixingyourwebsite.com/googleisgod.html
"Other people said 'Making your site look good in Lynx is like accessibility. I'm not selling to the blind so why should I go to the trouble of making my site accessible?' Why? Because the most powerful Internet force known to man visits your web pages like blind people and folks who use Lynx - Google."

I've collected other ones that I've found helpful here http://www.finalsigma.com/web-writing.html

Would you guys like to suggest some others that you've found helpful?

EDIT: I'm not plugging my own articles. They are just ones that I've found useful.

One can add proper ALT tags to images and avoid frames as they are little difficult when read with screen readers. Some screen readers do support frames with the use of F6 key on keyboard but it still gets messed up at times.
Javascript's fairly supported so there's less problem there although Flash can crash the browser at a particular combination of computer processer and screen reader.( not always)
We already take care of those for search engines...
