A lot of them are nice... but what's get my attention more is the "Awwward". The design is simple and not very complicated. Many site visitors are very conscious about the design of a website, if a visitors are having hard time with site interface... they leave!

Awwards is simple and clean for sure, but the one that popped out for me was Ben the bodyguard. Most of them have tried to get that 3D aspect in the design, but Ben's really nailed it IMO. Or maybe it was just the neon icons on the building's roofs.

I agree with you on the Atlantis website. The only thing i liked was when you scrolled down the page, the tube thing went with you. I was viewing this site and the other sites in IE9 btw.

I like the general theme of the website designs of being simple and elegant. I wonder how these designs fare with SEO performance?

Have you guys seen Smashingmagazine[dot]com? They also have a ton of design examples. But, I will add this site to my list as well. Thanks for posting this. I look forward to seeing more inspiring sites like these!
