ummm the "buy it" button says add to card and it doesn't work. No contact info and some pages, at least to me, just don't make sense. The services page for example.

I personally dont like the gray font and would suggest using a black font.

Even at that you should be looking at getting better position on the search engines to get more visitors to the site or if you have an extra money start throwing traffic at it using something like Adwords, but I would make sure it works 100% before doing so - I spotted a 'under construction' page.

As others already point out, the "add item to cart" button does not work (using FireFox 1.5x under Linux). Always mae sure to check your site with at least a couple of browsers, under a couple of OSes if possible.

For more traffic to your site, the design is less important. Design and usability is important when users are already coming through the door. You need to look into some ideas for traffic generation, or just pay for some good adverts (I'd do research first as to where the money is best invested in your case).

try checking the meta tags and submitting to as many search engines as you can. Then later invest in buying some traffic. I mean meta and search engine submission should get you at least a couple hundred a day.

I would re-code the site and optimize it for Search Engines and also use the correct META tags for the correct Search Engines, also make sure everything works on the site. To be honest you have chosen a difficult topic to cover being jewellry as people buy from the big users such as people with a well known reputation and who have shops in physical form with the jewellry in there.

Also look into PPC advertising if you wish to generate more traffic and also why not try and e-mail a few people but not spam as people hate that.

Definitely work on your SEO. Here's a nice article on Do it yourself SEO by john. One thing I noticed was that, in your page title put the keywords you want to rank for. I.E instead of "Gold Mountain Jewellery" put "Jewelrry, Rings, <Another keyword>, etc".

As for why users don't come back, have you considered starting a newsletter to grab their email addresses? When you regularly send out a useful newsletter people will start visiting your site regularly, and who doesn't buy now might buy a month later.

Also add a forum to the site.
P.S the 'Search' thing doesn't work (in the top left corner).

People usually don't buy jewerly online, they mostly just look. People like to try on the jewerly. The site looks good, its just people don't trust it. You will probably make more money from your adsense than actually selling Jewerly from your website.
Btw fix your add to card.

Good luck with it.

that was my point...

I think the "add to cart/add to card" is broken on purpose. If you owned a business that sold jewerly, would you not be consern when you got ZERO orders? Would you not test your "add to cart" before going live? I think the site is just built for adsense and nothing more.

people get there, realize they can't buy anything, click away (clicking adsense in the process)...

That is so true, some of his other links are broken too. For sure it was meant for adsense. I don't think there even is any jewerly he has.

I don't know if you have already but I would recommend you concentrate on advertising offline aswell as online as this is often underrated by many. The SEO Optimization tips mentioned by others would be advisable also

Lastly don't give up, it's something many people are tempted to do if they don't see fast results

This doesn't strike me as a functional merchant site. I can't help but notice that Igloo360, which is listed as the designer and is in your signature, only lists two sites in its portfolio - the Karam site and another jewelry site which doesn't even have a pretend shopping cart, let alone one that works.

try using a free package called webceo, i have found it a bit tricky in places but it does help to optimise your pages

I *generally* don't see adsense ads on true merchant sites. Looks sort of odd.
