vbulletin question

hey everyone

i was thinking about ways to spread views more across the forum instead of just to the most recent post and thought that it would be really nice to eliminate the date posted under the last post and just adding another most recent post & its poster. something like:

Last Post
awesome new....
by theChronic
crazy slideshows...
by theChronic

instead of

Last Post
awesome new...
by theChronic
8-10-06

Which way would you rather have it?

hard to say, but I picked single post. I know it seems handy to have more than one, but stick to the purpose of that column - it only helps indicate if it's been updated (including when the icon at the left has lost it's highlight), and therefore a second-to-last post would distract.

To make it even better, recent last posts should have the date expressed as '1 hour ago' or 'yesterday' etc. as it reduces cognative load for those threads.

edit:
and change the month to three-letters not a number, again it's easier to read, and avoids confusion between DD-MM-YY and MM-DD-YY!
