Make the website/blog accessibility friendly and of course mobile responsive. Lot's of people browse websites on there phones. Even have a app created and sell it for dirt cheap to get extra features when viewing the website.

Here is a good article to read. https://yoast.com/accessibility-matters/

Tips to make user friendly website

Nowadays in the digital era, the creation of website is easy but it is hard to find out how to make websites popular and user-friendly after its creation? You have to consider and work on the following to make your website user-friendly
Content
Design
Navigation & functionality

Content is the most important factor to decide or to make user stay on your website for long time. Deliver fresh, unique, easy to read content to user to make them long stay.

Website design also plays important role to attract user. Use clear layout for your website. Avoid Confusing layouts, because it is one of the major reason why a website loses customers.

Use simple navigation
and try to limit number of menus. Keep it simple as possible. Add search bar to your website. It is easy way to assist the user what they want on your website.

Try to speed up your website as you can.. Make sure your website loads within 4 or 5 seconds to stick users around your website and to decrease bounce rate of website.

I hope, this can help you.

To have a user friendly website, it needs to have good a menu navigation and ads should not be obtrusive to the reader. Mobile view is an important factor to consider and should be optimized for better user experience. Personally, I hate websites with poor mobile view. Since mobile users have significantly increased, webmasters should take this into consideration.

Keep it simple, clean and of course mobile friendly. I like to use the bootstrap framework to build sites.
