2 Websites to start with
Here are 2 useful websites for anyone who wished to find out more about making their site accessable to disabled people, or would just like to add another skill to their bag of tricks ( and portfolio / resume ).
These sites are 2 different standards for devloping accessable sites; one is a government standard REQUIRED of all gov't sites now, and the other is a web consortium reccomendation. Check 'em both out. They have some useful references and tutorials to help you make accessable sites.
Section 508 ( government accessability requirements )

Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
http://www.w3.org/WAI/
hope this helps : )

There are numerous web site articales that give reason to make accessible sites.
Here's the one I just finished reading: http://www.alistapart.com/stories/htmlkills/
And here's an extract:

As already discussed, accessibility helps usability. (see the design principles sticky thread).

To the owner/admin of this site (John i think?) :
Are you allowed to copy and paste articles from other sites and put them in the articles section or do you need to ask permission

Some places will let you copy and paste their articles if you give them credit. However, some places don't like you to do that with their content. IMO - You should get permission.

Yeah, whereas I don't think anyone complains about links to their site.
