Yes you should add the home link.

It is always good to give your user different ways to navigate the site, whether it is side links, search feature, or a navigation bar. Also many people don't know that the banner usually goes to the home page, so I say Yes add the home link.

I would say have Home on the nav bar. I always do because the home page is the hub of any site and is often where users want to go back to after visiting one of your internal pages.

If you take all sites, there is a option for Home page button. The Home Page button should be visible.
