Best Online Auction Software

I hope this is the right place to post but I wanted to ask what the best online auction software I can buy that comes with a "turbo lister" feature similar to eBay. I want to start niche auctions and I have the traffic and seller support but I want the switch over from eBay to my auctions to be somewhat seamless. The biggest issue is many won't switch unless I have an off line bulk lister feature similar to eBay.

Any help on this one? Thanks

Adam

Due to any potential security issues if you want to try and run a serious auction site you are better off have one made. Since pre made ones are available to the public making it easier for people to go through the code and find exploits and holes. Then you would be able to have a bulk uploader designed for your site. So you would have a more secure one off auction site.

Thanks Mr. Bill. I wasn't sure about all of it and having one made. I figured having one made will be an arm and a leg. I would think it would be like asking someone to re-write joomla.

Sign-on to e-Lance and ask for an eBay clone:-)

Seriously, if there is a model for the software you are trying to reproduce you may be very surprised at how little it would cost to re-create it.

phpprobid

I've been running their script for 2 years. Best support ever, has a turbo lister add on, has a bulk lister, very very happy with it.

With any auction site, you better get your own VPS or dedicated server to make transactions secure. Maintaining auction sites is very responsible think.

Good luck!

Re: Best Online Auction Software

There are so many Online Auction Softwares. Track online auctions and automate bids (snipe!) with this management tool. Tracks and snipes eBay auctions. Tracks profit for sellers and places last second bids for bidders.

We also use phpprobid and have had no security issues. Their free version is worthless but the paid versions have all the features you could need.
