How do you link the portal's index page and the forum?
Often, if the forum has a big logo at its top, it links to the forum itself(like IMR). Now if the forum is a part of the portal(like IMR), I thought that the forum should have a link to the portal's index. What I did for my site was to make the forum's logo link to the portal's index. It turns out that it wasn't such a great design; one of members pointed that out, and now I look at it, it doesn't work great. This is a problem. Realizing the design problem, I have a couple of questions
q1. Should the forum's logo be linked to the forum itself even if it is a part of the portal?
q1.2. How should the forum be link to the portal('s index page) if the forum's logo should be linked to the forum itself?
