Page are downloading instead of open

hi, i hope someone can help me with my problem.
I was upload a folder onto my hosting. The address something like -youdomain.com/folder.

The folder contain all html (*.html) including index.html as a landing page.

The Problem

When i open/access the page i got the following alert(-http://youdomain.com/folder/index.html)



Everytime i open that url, it first save onto my PC before open it.

I use firefox 3.0 and WinXP Sp3.

I've had this problem before. It's actually a pretty easy fix.

My problem was that it was download .wmv movies instead of streaming them with WMA.

So, click on the start button, then go to "Default Programs". It should be in your start bar, but if not, it should also be on the side menu when you click on your My Computer, or just search for it in the start menu.

From there, click on "Associate a file type or protocol with a program."

Here you go. Find the extension, in your case it would be ".html" and/or ".htm" and associate it with Internet Explorer, or whatever your default browser is.

Ok. here is a simple tip. Look for any html file in your pc (example your index.html). Then right-click on that file, it would open its properties. Then look for the word that says "Opens with" then click the "change" button and choose firefox.
