What standards do you have in mind in the case of Flash? It's a proprietary technology so of course Macromedia follows "standards". Their own.

Anyone want to start something?

I think the reason (as stated by you) for such a site is not very sound. With all due respect, why would people want to fight Java? Just because it crashed your browser 6 times? Maybe the browser was at fault? Or perhaps the script was written using MSJ++? Or you could have developped a bad cluster where JVM is installed on the HDD.
However, when you write about standards, it makes much more sense, as long as these are open standards for technologies such as such as HTML, CSS, XML etc. But then, you already have some competition - W3C, GNU, OSI and the whole Open Source community.
Oh, and you would have to start with banning MS IE and sites developped just for IE.
Back to Java; if Sun open sources Java (a viable possibility if they want to kill .Net) then your fight is futile. Java is a good technology promised, and for web sites too. If only the thing weren't so damn slow. I used to have a Java based menu on my site but threw the monster out.
