Any other method may have short term benefits however google have proved over the years that 'black hat' tactics do not pay in the long term.

But IMO.. I don't like to use softwares because some softwares may detect by the bots and SE's and there are directories that they don't want and accept automated submission.. that's why i still prefer to doing it manually..

Website submitter is good but it is not advisable anymore especially you are submitting to a site that needs code verification.

Directory submission alone will not get a site to page 1 of Google. Link submission is an important part of SEO but there are many more aspects to it.

how does it get around the captchas on the directory sites?

or does it only submit to the sites that are so old they arnt using captchas?

or does it only work for certain directory types like phpdir because it knows what the text field names are so it can skip the captcha?
