Value domains with Alexa ranking?

How much do you think an Alexa rank of around 1,000,000 worth?
Traffic does add value to domains and I would like to get an idea of an average value.
If you've had any experience in Alexa ranked domains please share it on this thread.

If a domain has an Alexa rank of 1,000,000 that adds nothing to its value, anyone can register a domain name right now and within 24 hours have a rank of 1,000,000 on Alexa.

Alexa rank in 24 hrs? How. I've got couple of blogs and it took me more than 2 months to get to 1,100,000. They get about 60 uniques a day on avg.
Is it possible in 24 hrs?

You install their toolbar and keep refreshing your webapage, its how Alexa rank cheats do it.

Thats why you should never use Alexa for anything meaningful when it comes to their stats.

How much do I think its worth? Nothing.

Alexa is spyware. And the last time I heard, spyware = bad. I put 0 faith in alexa and its spyware tool bar.

Wow, is 1,000,000 really that good that you can consider its worth? If so, then I'm happy -- one of my sites is 367,131 ^_^

i thinks Alexa shows your Traffic value on behalf of compering sites traffic and page views of list 3 and 6 months and average of that it's your Alexa gives you Traffic number for your sites. Alexa updates it's self every week for Traffic calculation.

From what I have researched, getting your Alexa ranking under 300,000 is a pretty good feat. 300,000 to 1,000,000 is average for a personal website and anything above 1,000,000 isn't worth much. Just my 2 cents though....

far I can understand the ranking in alexa is calculated base in the back links register on each search engine (bing,yahoo and google) the more back links you have better ranking it will show in alexa. The real value of a site is the quality of the traffic and the profit you have from it.

Thats a very low Alexa. I'd say.. $10 dollars at most, assuming your pagerank is as low as your traffic ranking.
