I'm sure you could, although you would have to charge a considerably higher CPM depending on how much real estate you want to give up. Here's an article with a free tool on [Link Removed]how to create a banner ad revenue estimate. You can use it to find out the effects on your bottom line given your plans.

cheers!

Reducing your ad space can look better in terms of quality, however, you want to make some money at the same time. So, I would cut a balance between ad space and your site's "qualityness" I would say.

Reducing the ad space is good in terms of charging more to advertisers only if your website is somewhere else. if you're nowhere and you're reducing your ad space then you're making your own loss.
