30K if I was investing I would want the site to make a profit in the first year. But this would only be if the content generated itself. If work was required to adminisrtate the website then this is a different matter

Depends on what you want a website for. If you want revenue, and most people do, why buy an informational site with no proven revenue.

As for the site making $100 per day, it depends on how long it's been making that kind of income also. I'd probably go for around $30,000 for the site but if it's only been making that for a month or so, that would probably be too high.

The price estimates being discussed are based on X times the monthly income, rather than the yearly income.

lol. All those things are good, but I'm a capitalist. I really don't have any interest in owning a site that doesn't help put bread on the table. They are work to maintain and if I'm working, I want a payday.

Some may buy it though for all the good reasons you provided with the intent of monetizing it themselves. I'm not saying it has no value, but if given a choice of purchasing a site with revenue or a site without, I'll take the one making money.
