You will make quick money for internet gurus by buying there get rich quick products. The truth is it can take years of investment to build most any business. If you are in a particular business just for the money than you will fail. Find something you like to do and just do it. The money will eventually come.

I think the first step to making money online is figuring out what you are good at and what you enjoy doing, if you can make a website and write relevant, useful content on something you consider yourself to have expertise in then the money will follow traffic.

Once you've accumulated regular traffic, subscribers, google rankings, etc there are so many ways to monetize your site with the obvious ones being adsense, affiliate programs, selling your own product or service,etc.

Adsense is not a fast way to make money though.

You could reach the $100 thresh-hold to recieve a payment but you have to wait till the end of the following month to get the money. That's not a fast way to get money.

Affiliate marketing or selling some kind of service is a fast way to earn money. Some affiliate sites payout weekly or even a instant payment right to your paypal account.

There are 100’s ways to make money at home online, the fastest way is freelancing but it is not the best

Adsense, affiliate marketing need web traffic, if you want to make money fast and you don’t have traffic you have to buy traffic from Google adword, or other ways

I prefer mostly promoting clickbank.com products. The commission is more then 1 click with using adsense anyways. The hardest part is getting someone to buy a product i am promoting.

There some membership sites i belong to that i recieve instant commission to my paypal account if i make a sale. Of course i either pay a yearly fee or monthly fee to stay a premium member on the membership site. If i don't make any sales, i'll be in negative figures with that site though. lol

I have tried BANS (Build a Niche Store), which is a way to make money with eBay's affiliate program. Not making great money there. It has been hit and miss really. You won't get Google traffic that way, but yahoo and bing have been nice to me.

Currently using datafeedr (www.datafeedr.com), which has proven to be an improvement. Getting lots of Google traffic there, but not a lot of money yet. A steady income.

I use Google adsense (http://adsense.google.com) on all my sites as a supplementary income.

Also, every now and then, there is a crazy money-making scheme that can make you some good returns short term. Currently, I am making good money as a zeekler affiliate, but I don't believe it will last for longer than 2011. If you read this after 2011, I would not advise you to invest with them. I recommend you the following:

1-think out a website, not blog... about what you know very well
2-search with keyword searcher tools, such as WordTracker.com, if the keywords for that site are often searched... find a highly searched niche
4-check competition on search engines to see how many and how strong others are... if too strong competition, maybe it isn't worth wasting time adn energy and you'll have to find another subject/niche...
5-after finding a good/potentially profitable subject, build a quality site around it
6-sign up to AdSense and put their ads on the site!
7-advertise your site, but don't buy clicks/PPC, don't buy visitors or you'll get banned from AdSense...

Takes a lot of work, potentially years to develop a very good site, but if you're lucky and smart, you could already run profitable in a matter of 2-3 months.

Zounds of different products are offered in Clickbank with nice comissions. A blogger blog with nice content and small traffic could generate a nice cashflow from such products.

Every expert has their own way of bringing home the bacon! You might wanna start out with a simple blog, then get adsense.. then you might see that Ur not getting good payouts.. U overclock Ur AdSense account and one fine morning you get BANNED.

Next, you might look into CPA and try all sorts of creepy cookie stuffing methods to get that 1 conversion...
