You can sign up for Adsense and insert Adsense codes between posts of your website and it helps you to earn money when users or members are reading your website. I think its the best way according to the structure of your website.

You could try intext ads like Kontera. They would highlight words on the page by turning them into links, and when moused over an advert is popup up. Just put some code in your footer, so no changes to design. If don't like, you can remove code and that is it.

Also, you can try adbrite. It allows inline ads for your website.
And there are one more popular site which can help you in monetizing your site, that is bidvertiser.

I think you can work with adsense or you may choose some affiliate programs to monetize that site.Choosing other networks like kontera or infolinks might be some other choices for your site.

I would say adsense between posts if you convert it to a forum site.

Yes between posts is a perfect place or to insert under the first post.

Maybe get a theme that has options for ad placement as well? If you could customize/optimize where the ads are placed that would probably help with the CTR immensely.

Join ther vworker affiliate program, I've never done it myself, not in this niche, but it seems like a prime advertising method. As long as it pays though go for it.

Adsense is more rewarding but you might have a lot of issues with them.. I will rather suggest Adbrite or Clicksor

keep most the forum open for regular members to browse

then create a section of the forum for paid members

slowly migrate your most valuable content to the paid section

Agreed if you need in text advertising stick to infolinks because the payouts and ctr's are better then kontera.

I can try Adsense and infolinks and see which works best for you. With your web niche it should be nice rates for clicks

Throw up some ads from Elance or oDesk on there. I know Elance recently increased their commission rate through CJ and I get 50 bucks a pop by reference companies to the site, so it might work for you.

you should find your niche with high paying keyword for adsense, after choosing these stuff do extensive bookmarking and all other techs of SEO and get high traffic to your website and drive the adsense on your website. This may be the better way to get profit out of your website.

i have a question, does google penalize websites with too many ads (other than adsense), meaning too many links leading out of the site?

It used to be that more that 100 outbound links from a site was a very bad thing indeed, but now there are more factors to consider, as there are plenty of good (non spammy) sites that have 100's of OBL's on them.

I'm not even sure the "bad neighborhood" factor applies anymore, as lots of sites in the SERP have penis ads and saggy titty ads on them.

It's probably a gauge of overall site quality. If your site has too many affiliate ads, then it gets labelled as a "thin affiliate" site and kicked to the curb, so I dont think its a matter of too many, but of how they fit in with the quality and content of your site.
