If you look on the
v7n SEO Contest blog There are Yahoo ads on there...
Good Thread, I'll run through some answers as quick as I can...
They are friendly, even providing a toll free number, I had to call when I ran into a block when first setting up. Great guy, really helpful, easy fix.
The set up is very similar to Google... the one thing that's different is the RSS for content (purdy cool - if you can figure it out) *I haven't yet
Sabeur - you don't have to put any money or give any credit card info to join...
It is still in beta and may not be accepting apps for a site of this size or content... I can't say beyond a shadow of a doubt.... BUT -
When I applied for Chitika ads my one site was turned down almost immediately. So I submitted another site, also turned down, then I tried one last time and I was approved 2 minutes later (we have a network of different sites and different demographics) so they found one they liked and I was in...
Same with Yahoo... that was my third app, The only place we've been running it so far is on a site that we haven't even started developing yet
www.Your-Classmates.com
I'd say use another site or two in your app John they're sure to find something they like, then you can use the same account on everything....
Now as far as the payout goes... too soon to tell -
Google treats us well, and I knew that this SEO Contest would get a lot of buzz so I figured it'd be
funny to run Yahoo ads on a Google Blog

I only installed the counter today at 3pm and with 1,300+ hits it's lagging behind Googles payout but I haven't seen the other reports yet so hard to say
Hope that rant made sense to everyone else... it did when I was typing it out
