not me.

Hehhe, the problem with all those adsense-click-trough programs is that in my case (not that I would consider ads in the first place) the ads would be mostly government sponsored anti cannabis propaganda, those guys are the only ones who have the need to advertise their crappy bu**** sites, all the rest are non profits, and seed + "paraphenalia" companies are rejected by those programs.

The program is in beta so it is currently available to the U.S residents only. How does it compare to Google Adsense in terms of revenue and targeting of the ads?

I applied few months ago and got accepted but never bothered to implement the codes.

people are saying ads are not that revelant but clicks are higher in value. net net they pay about the same.

John, I'm surprised you haven't gotten a reply. I have heard they are very friendly, and even call to see how the program is doing.

I haven't tried it myself but have heard from those who have that payouts are higher but ads are less relevant. Once it is out of beta and more popular, the payouts will probably decrease.

Well, I found out they are still in "Beta" and not accepting a lot of applicants. So I guess it's just wait and see.

LOL. I thought about that, but I've been nice to Yahoo several times here on the forums.

If you look on the v7n SEO Contest blog There are Yahoo ads on there...

Good Thread, I'll run through some answers as quick as I can...

They are friendly, even providing a toll free number, I had to call when I ran into a block when first setting up. Great guy, really helpful, easy fix.

The set up is very similar to Google... the one thing that's different is the RSS for content (purdy cool - if you can figure it out) *I haven't yet

Sabeur - you don't have to put any money or give any credit card info to join...

It is still in beta and may not be accepting apps for a site of this size or content... I can't say beyond a shadow of a doubt.... BUT -
When I applied for Chitika ads my one site was turned down almost immediately. So I submitted another site, also turned down, then I tried one last time and I was approved 2 minutes later (we have a network of different sites and different demographics) so they found one they liked and I was in...

Same with Yahoo... that was my third app, The only place we've been running it so far is on a site that we haven't even started developing yet www.Your-Classmates.com

I'd say use another site or two in your app John they're sure to find something they like, then you can use the same account on everything....

Now as far as the payout goes... too soon to tell -
Google treats us well, and I knew that this SEO Contest would get a lot of buzz so I figured it'd be funny to run Yahoo ads on a Google Blog
I only installed the counter today at 3pm and with 1,300+ hits it's lagging behind Googles payout but I haven't seen the other reports yet so hard to say

Hope that rant made sense to everyone else... it did when I was typing it out

NeO

Interesting comment...

I wonder if you'd mind taking a look at www.webstrider.com and see how it compares with yahoo! as a portal. I made it because I couldn't find a portal I liked, and it just grew. I occasionally get emails from people who say they like it very much and made it their homepage on their first visit.

Yahoo is definitely better than Google.

Should've switch way sooner.
