How to best monetize a directory?
Hey,
I own a directory that I don't do very much with now, I did some work on it a few months ago and its bringing in about $100/week and the only work I am doing is approving listings every now and again.

Its not bad for doing so little work

I think I could make some more from it, so I am looking for suggestions.
A few companies have contacted me about adding a signup option to my submission page but I haven't added any.

What are other people doing with directories?

Promote it and get it trafficked, and the submissions will make more money than anything else you could do with it.

Try to get listed in directory lists.

They can send a lot of traffic to your directory.
