Well, should i put ads on a new site?

I agree about trying to get traffic first. People will trust the site a lot more if there are no ads up. This is definitely the way to go.

If adsense is the only income the website will have, I will put adsense even it's a new site. After all, that is the reason we build site.

If the major income is not from adsense as shopping cart website but the sales customers buy, I won't put adsense.

Wait to put up the adsense, if you put it up immediately it will make it tough to rank initially. Speaking from experience.
